30 Days: Day 7

Day 07 → Someone who has made your life worth living for.

My wife and daughter. I know, I know, anyone I’ve spoken to has heard me groan on and on about how they drive me batty. That’s cause they do. But they’re both full of love and adoration. My wife grounds me (not literally, though. let’s clear that up) and loves me. She always has my back, even before we got married. She understands me. We have our secret little language (verbal and non-verbal). She loves football and basketball. She’s not high-maintenance. She’s practical and down to earth.

My daughter adores me and makes me laugh. She’s a true Daddy’s girl. She can’t stop following me around and hanging onto me. I can see where she’s like myself and her traits from Shonda. She’s intelligent, fiery and curious. We’re hoping to give her everything she needs to be successful and happy. As much as we try to do, we could do more. But she knows that she’s loved though. Even when I discipline her, she knows this.
